About

Judi Heidel

When not busy editing, I still spend most of my free time immersed in words. I have always been a devoted reader, with a special passion for literary and historical fiction. During my lunch breaks, you can catch me doing the New York Times crossword puzzle or (yes, I’m admitting this) playing word apps on my phone. Bringing a book and a chair to the beach in my hometown of San Clemente is one of the things I enjoy most. - Judi

I bring a genuine love of reading, writing, syntax, grammar, and punctuation to my job. I enjoy the meticulous work involved in ensuring that your final product reflects the “4 Cs” of a professional writer—clarity, coherency, consistency, and correctness, which all serve the “Cardinal C”— Communication. Whether it is a novel or a poem, that is why we write—to communicate. As a professional copyeditor, my job is to make sure that your message gets across to your reader.
